What is going on!?!? I'm only 15, but my skin is wrinkly and saggy!?

i don't get it! recently my skin seems to have gone into accelerated aging, I had an eating disorder about a year ago, but thats all in the past now and I didn't have this problem after I was better, yet lately I have developed stretch marks, my skin tone is uneven, my face has become saggy and scrawny, veins have become visible all over my body and my hands have become completely wrinkled, I used to have gorgeous skin, i am half ethiopian and my skin was really thick and elastic, just like my sisters, I don't know what is wrong with me, could my anorexia have triggered some sort of hormone disorder?

That's weird that you mention this because earlier today I was on imdb.com looking up "White Christmas". Actress Vera Ellen dealt with anorexia and her body prematurely aged. All her costumes in the movie covered her neck to hide her wrinkled neck. I never heard of this happening to people with anorexia before. I don't know the answer to your question, but you're not alone. You'll probably have to go to the doctor and see what he/she says. I'm sorry this is happening to you. Best of luck!
Reply:Maybe you have a vitamin deficiancy.
Reply:go to the doctor.
Reply:Well stretchmarks i know can come from rapid weight loss, or weight gain and they're just part of growing up. I suggest that you go to your dermatologist immediately, and your general doctor as well. It may not actually be your skin thats the problem but some dietary issue(your skin reflects what you eat)

good luck hun
Reply:Sounds to me like you STILL have an eating disorder after looking at your other questions. You are obsessed STILL with food and what it might do to your body. If you are not in counseling--you need to get your parents to take you to see a doctor. If you really have saggy, wrinkled skin....then you should be seen by a doctor, too. Not sure if you were very heavy and lost a lot of weight or gained some very quickly...?
Reply:I think you should go to the doctor! You never know what's wrong and it seems that this has occured unexpectedly. Tell your parents and go to the doctor
Reply:Yes, this is possible. Any kind of malnutrition (also in the case of anorexia) can stress and damage your skin. But it should be reversable in your age. Skin under 25 can recover quite easily. Eat properly, moisturize well and take a multivitamin, especially Vitamin B complex and Vitamin E. Lots of healthy fats (Omega oils, Olive oil, Flaxseed oil) can benefit your skin immensely,
Reply:First thing....go see a doctor.

You probably have to eat properly and drink more water. Your body is probably dehydrated causing your skin to winkle up.
