Im 26 years female i have a skin disorder call psorias what can i i use over the counter to help me with this

My grandmother and my husband both suffer from psoriasis and neither one of them had any success with over the counter medications. True, you can use hyrdrocortisone creams or Eucerin or something to soften your skin up, but it's not going to resolve the patches. Same with oatmeal baths. If you are trying to get rid of the patches, you really need to go to a doctor to get steroidal creams, which you can only use sparingly and temporarily, but they do work. If you're just trying to alleviate the discomfort, go ahead with the OTC creams. Good luck. Psoriasis is a frustrating condition, especially, I imagine for a young lady, but keep your chin up, you'll find a product that helps you.

Reply:I've heard that Aveeno skin products can help with psoriasis. It helps with excema and things like that. Oatmeal products with no fragrances or oils.
