Can stress cause skin disorders?

Reply:Yes, stress played a part in giving me Psoriasis.
Reply:it can contribute to increasing the severity of many illnesses, skin disorders included.

Reply:Absolutely. One of the most significant disorders caused by stress is Vitiligo (losing the color of your skin). At least this is what the doctors told me. On the other hand, whenever they cannot find the cause of any disorder, doctors blame it on the stress...

You stress out to much and on your jaw line you break out in pimples/boils.





One of my friends is going through a lot right now and she has hives especially in her hairline and along her waist and bra line. Doc said she needs to chill out and they will go away in the meantime she lives on benedryl for the itching.
Reply:Yes - I get acne around my chin and forehead when I am stressed out. Wash your face with a benzo-peroxide face wash and it should clear up nicely. :o)

stress is not alone as it company with depression which can be dangerous.
